1st Edith Pelgrims de Bigard Memorial

On Friday, 7 August 2026, from 5:30 pm, Torre Delle Stelle hosts the 4th edition of Torre Delle Stelle Corre, this year dedicated to the 1st Edith Pelgrims de Bigard Memorial.

The event is organised by ASD Atletica Maracalagonis, with the approval of UISP Comitato Territoriale di Cagliari APS, the patronage and financial support of the Municipality of Maracalagonis, in collaboration with ASD Atletica Selargius and SSD ARL Parco Torre Delle Stelle. It brings together sport, community and the local landscape in an event open to participants of different ages and levels.

The programme includes a 6.5 km competitive race and a 3.25 km recreational walk/run open to everyone. The route follows the unpaved roads of the seaside village of Torre Delle Stelle, along a scenic loop of approximately three kilometres, to be completed twice by participants in the competitive race.

The meeting point, start and finish line will be in Via Orione, in front of the amphitheatre, inside the Park of Torre Delle Stelle.
