A LandRich in History
In the heart of Sardinia’s southeastern coast, Torre Delle Stelle is a place where the past blends with a stunning landscape. From the remains of the Nuragic civilization to Roman excavations in ancient Calagonis, the land holds centuries of history. The Torre de Su Fenugu, built in 1578, symbolizes a long-standing tradition of coastal defense and observation.
During the Second World War, the sea in front of the village saw naval battles—today the wreck of the Motonave Loredan is a favorite site for diving enthusiasts. The modern village was founded in the 1960s thanks to the vision of Edith Pelgrims de Bigard, who named it Torre Delle Stelle, inspired by the clear sky and constellations, also used to name the village streets.
“At Torre delle Stelle, history merges with nature: ancient towers gaze out over golden beaches, while the stars illuminate timeless nights.”
